FRIJ

What is it?

The Fonds régional d'investissement jeunesse of Québec (FRIJQ) is a regionalized envelope that comes from the government of Québec’s Youth Action Plan. The Secrétariat à la jeunesse and the Fonds Jeunesse Québec allowed the creation of this fund.

The FRIJ is managed jointly by the regional youth forums and its partner: the Conférence régionale des élus (CRÉ). Its interventions fall under a dialogue and partnership with the organizations present in the different territories of the regions.

The FRIJ’s mission is to favour the social, communitarian, cultural and professional integration of youth from 12 to 35 by giving them funding to realise mobilizing projects BY and FOR youth: training, starting a business, social and communitarian integration, internship, etc.

To submit a project, just get in touch with the Youth Forum of your region.

Youth Mobilizing Initiatives

The Structuring youth actions (AJS) are projects resulting from the regional dialogue in order to work on issues or major subjects concerning the youth on each Quebec’s region. Structuring youth actions gather several organizations and financial partners in order to share the resources of each one and to try out new ways of making.
