The Table
de concertation was created to offer to the youth forums of Quebec a place of dialogue
and empowerment to support their work. There’s a Youth Forum in
each administrative region of, except in Montérégie where 3
different youth forums can be found and in the Nord-du-Québec region
where we can find a youth forum for the jamesien population, one for the
Cree nation and one for the Inuit population.
Regional Youth Forum’s mandates :
• To encourage youth’s
representation in regions;
• To encourage and maintain a dialogue between youth’s
representatives and local and regional partners;
• To advise on youth related matters;
• To promote youth involvement in local and regional levels and to
coordinate the citizenship participation agents actions;
• To financially support youth mobilizing initiatives as well as
local and regional projects by using the Fonds régional d'investissement
jeunesse (FRIJ).
The two main goals of the regional youth forums
are to encourage youth’s social participation in their region and
consequently let them be real actors of the local and regional
development of their community.

electoral campaign and participate in a mock election.
